1. Must be a fully operational product sample. Only fully operational product samples can be considered and should be available at time of submission.
2. Must be a reasonable size and weight (shouldn’t take up too much space on a retail shelf and most people should be able to pick it up with one hand).
3. Must solve a wide-spread, mass-population problem (nothing preventative or for a niche group).
4. Must be easy to demonstrate and understand without significant instruction or visual aids.
5. Must be easy for everyone to use.
