Report Counterfeit

Counterfeit, or “knock off” goods account for billions of dollars annually in lost revenue, which directly impacts American manufacturers and their employees. Sellers of such goods not only infringe on the patents and trademarks of the manufacturers, but the products they’re selling are typically of inferior quality – and in some cases can be harmful to consumers.

If you’ve purchased from websites like eBay, Alibaba, Wish, or any other online store where the item was shipped from overseas, the goods you’ve purchased are most certainly not genuine.

There are two kinds of infringement: Patent infringement, and Trademark infringement

Patent infringement is when another seller creates a nearly-identical generic product in an effort to capitalize on the demand we’ve generated.

Trademark infringement is when a seller blatantly misrepresents that generic product as if it were the genuine brand, often going so far as to duplicate the packaging and logos. If you’ve come across a counterfeit Ontel product in a store or online, our Counterfeit Response Team would love to know about it so we can take action against these fraudulent sellers.
